AAT is Australia’s largest motor vehicle and RoRo terminal operator. Our Fisherman Islands and Port Kembla facilities handle in excess of 600,000 motor vehicles p/a and over 25,000 units of RoRo including high and heavy equipment and machinery.
Our facilities provide onsite storage for over 40,000 vehicles and our terminals are conveniently located within close proximity to a number of major PDI operators.

AAT is Australia’s largest mixed cargo terminal operator providing specialised equipment, innovative technologies and extensive expertise in handling all cargo types. AAT has established a new global benchmark in mixed cargo operations. From break bulk cargo, to project cargo including wind farm equipment, tunnel boring machines and other over dimensional cargo, AAT provides comprehensive capability across all cargo types.

AAT offer a full range of container handling services including receival, delivery and storage. We have a comprehensive and modern fleet of machinery and equipment to facilitate container handling including tugs/dock trucks, top frame forklifts, reach stackers, mobile harbor cranes and ship to shore cranes.

AAT currently handle more than 1,000,000 tonnes per annum of bulk products across our Melbourne, Port Kembla and Fisherman Islands terminals. Our senior management team have extensive experience in bulk operations enabling AAT to develop integrated bulk cargo handling solutions. This incorporates access to stevedoring, transport, storage, terminal access as well as access to a range of ship loading options including rotating container technology, grabs and environmental hoppers.

AAT’s terminals offer premium cargo storage locations with immediate wharf access and connectivity to various transport networks including road arterials, rail  and to direct to ship access. We offer a range of storage options including undercover, hardstand, offsite which can be tailored to specific requirements.

AAT facilities are QAP (Quarantine Approved Premises). With established AA’s (Approved Arrangements) our terminals offer services including full wash services via QAP approved wash bay, cargo inspections and contamination and heat treatment facilities.

AAT has fully integrated suite of applications including graphical planning, yard and vessel optimization tools to online portals to manage cargo movements through our multi-purpose mixed cargo terminals. Our systems provide track and trace functionality for cargo movements as well as a full range of EDI and integration capabilities providing vital interfaces to 3rd parties in the logistics supply chain.
